Human iPSC-Derived Forebrain Organoid 4 month Organoid
Human iPSC-Derived Forebrain Organoid, derived from human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), exhibit mature electrophysiological properties after four months (120 days) of culture, including action potential firing and measurable sodium and potassium currents. The organoids are exposed to key patterning factors, guiding their differentiation into forebrain cortical cells in line with the expected timeline of human forebrain development, expressing dorsal forebrain markers such as FoxG1, Otx2, and Emx1. Each batch undergoes rigorous quality control to ensure no contamination from mycoplasma, bacteria, fungi/yeast, and to validate their identity, genetic stability, and functional performance. These organoids provide an ideal model for studying neurodevelopment, drug screening, and forebrain-related diseases such as Alzheimer's disease.

- application
- For research use only. Forebrain cortical organoids derived from human iPSC lines are complex cellular 3D tissue models that mimic in vivo cell-cell interactions in the cortex. These models are useful for studies of human brain biology, disease mechanisms and candidate drug testing (e.g. neurotoxicity, target engagement, mechanism of action).
